![]() ![]() ![]() My username is based on the secret antagonist from Romancing the Stones and To Heir is Human "Thrice Now I Curse. I eagerly await the release of their newest game, Mage's Initiation. The fact that AGDI managed to take one of the least good entries in the series and make it comparable to the best ones show that they are some of the best game designers out there. In each chapter, an aging King Graham reflects on his life of adventure with his granddaughter, Gwendolyn, while players are transported back to influence first-hand the decisions and events that shaped a kingdom. It is just as good as KQVI, but what's impressive is that it is not an original game built from the ground up to be awesome, it's a remake of a not-so-good game. King’s Quest is a collection of five different chapter releases, each focusing on an untold tale in Graham’s past. ![]() For example, KQIV still uses a text parser, and KQV is very linear and has too many dead ends (It's nearly impossible to play without a guide).īut since we're allowed to talk about AGD Interactive, I'm gonna say that KQIII Redux is the best one. KQIV and V (My other two favorites) had their flaws. Awesome story, FMV, Character Portraits, Full Voice Cast, Josh Mendel, Multiple Endings, Intuitive Gameplay, The Debut of the Society of the Black Cloak, Awesome Puzzles, Guidebook to the Land of the Green Isles, Puzzles Based around Disney Movies, and so much more make this game the best in the series by a long shot. It is the epitome of good adventure game design. Kings Quest VI: Heir Today, Gone Tomorrow. Kings Quest V: Absence Makes the Heart Go Yonder. KQVI was my favorite of the Sierra-made ones. Which game is best and why Kings Quest I: Quest for the Crown. ![]()
